Grammarly

Hello! After the upgrade, the Grammarly plugin works everywhere except on the post, and I know I am not the only one who is experiencing this issue. Chrome and WordPress are the latest versions, but it has not been working since the change. Help pls.

Another issue I have every time, when I add a purchase link for the product, it does not allow me to change or do anything on my post. I have to refresh WordPress a few times in order to continue. IT SUCKS! Also if I try to schedule a post, again it is showing that I am not allowed to do it? Why not? It is my post! Blogging is becoming so time-consuming because of such things. :(

  • Hi there,

The Grammarly browser add-on does not work with the WordPress editor, no. This is a known issue, but not something either we, or the folks who make the editor over on WordPress.org can fix. Grammarly needs to add support for the editor on their end.

Grammarly is aware of this issue, but I can’t tell you whether or not they’re currently working on it. Please contact their support directly to ask them about that.

Regarding the issue that it says you’re not allowed to edit/update/schedule, please check if clearing your browser cache makes any difference. Let me know if it doesn’t.
