Grammarly Tool & my Dementia Symptoms

  • Unknown's avatar

Added Problems trying to work my blogsite with recently intensified dementia symptoms in several ways, but i think one of the biggest is Grammarly.
Grammarly helped for a couple years, but with added pregression of symptoms now, it is preventing highlighting text, or making text into a Link, etc … and i cannot figure out what it wants me to do. If i DO figure it out, then by the time i return to my document i do not know what i was trying to say. ((my train of thought de-railed and there were no survivors, LOL))

So i need to remove it. Checked and Grammarly is not listed in my control panel’s computer programs, so must be some type of tool for WordPress. How do i remove it ?

Big THANKS. Also hoping i can somehow figure out HOW to later find this particular entry in forum, or maybe WordPress sends me email for any response ??

    hi,

Are you referring to Grammarly at https://www.grammarly.com/ ?
It is not part of WordPress.

You could have installed as part of your browser plugin.

By the way, I would say you are pretty tech savvy and your dementia (if at all) is milder than you think.
    1. You installed Grammarly
    2. You knew to check in Control Panel and figure out it is not an installed program
    3. You wrote a pretty long and intelligible ticket on this forum, your only second ticket so far! Which means you handle WordPress pretty well.

That’s a lot more than most people can do.
