Grant Edit permission to other authors for specific posts

  Hello All,

  Does anyone know if there is a way to grant edit permission to users on a per-post basis? For example, in general I don’t want other contributors to edit my posts, but in rare cases, I would like to allow another contributor to do so. I don’t want to assign them to an Editor role for the whole blog, just to a specific post.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi. I don’t think you can grant people permission for one single post. Well… technically you can add them as contributors and remove that privilege later.

  Why not just ask them to forward you their post, which you publish for them, and add a note at the top saying “Guest post by ___”? I’ve seen some bloggers do that as part of their guest blogger policy.
