graphic at top left in the black bar: change?

    this is a silly matter, but somehow when i was trying to figure out how to display a photo or photos on one of the sidebars at my site, i ended up with sylvia muffin sticking her head in the oven in the left end of the black bar to the right of the wordpress W. i’ve tried to figure out which widget or whatever i chose incorrectly, and thought i’d deleted any image files. but alas, here it still is. can you advise me, please, how to switch it out?

    Hi Wendy. That picture is like a favicon for your blog (we used to call them Blavatars, but now they’re just called “Blog Picture/Icon”). You can change the image here: https://wendyedavis.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

    another question? is there any way i can embed this video code; i’ve tried pasting into the Text tab, no dice.

    Hi Wendy. Unfortunately, we don’t allow JavaScript or Flash embeds from third-party sites for security reasons. The “player.js” in the embed URL tells you it’s JavaScript. If they do post it to their youtube channel at some point, you can just paste the URL from youtube on its own line in a post and it will automatically embed it s described here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/
