Graphics Missing

  Hi – Is one of your graphic servers down? Some of my graphics — including my new header, uploaded last night (and it was there first things this morning), are not displaying. Help?

  Looks like three graphics are missing (checked my uploaded graphics).

  Just a suggestion but it would be a lot easier to help you if you said which graphics were missing, links to them, and examples (What type of header should we see? because I can see yours just fine). :)

  As has been stated by the staff here before…”you can never give too much information”

  Thanks. To be more specific, I checked and I cannot see any of the following:

  – masthead2.jpg: uploaded yesterday afternoon but then replaced later with masthead3.jpg
  – masthead3.jpg: new masthead uploaded late yesterday afternoon
  – dsc02841.jpg: left-hand image in the triptych at the top of yesterday’s post (Brilliant Weekend)

  They are missing using IE and Firefox. Find it strange that dsc02841.jpg would be missing but the other two in the triptych are not.

  When I click on the missing graphic link, for dsc02841.jpg, I get a 404 — File not found. And the masthead is just plain missing.

  Ok I went to your blog again and saw them just fine, but when I hit CTRL-F5 to reload the page from the server those images you mentioned where then gone. Since the volunteer help here in the forums don’t have access to the servers I would suggest sending in a feedback (Go into your dashboard and click on feedback) and send them that exact information to the staff. I had a similar problem a while back and they were able to fix it pretty quick. Sorry I could not be of more help, but this looks to be a backend problem.

  Oops – no. The header is there now, but the first image in “Brilliant Weekend” is still missing.

  Well I really didn’t do anything…might want to send that through the feedback as part of the ‘hugs’ section of the ‘bugs and hugs’. Support are people too ;)
