Hi, If I want to have several gravatars associated with several wordpress.org sites, do I need a wordpress.com site for each one in order to keep them separate?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A gravatar account and a wordpress.com account are one in the same thing.
A wordpress.com account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing.
Why Does Gravatar Say I Already Have an Account?
http://en.gravatar.com/support/existing-account/You can use one gravatar image for each username account. It will apply to all sites referred under the same username account. And, the Gravatar help link is http://en.gravatar.com/support/

Thank you! I’m still a little confused. In terms of best practices, if I want a different Gravatar associated with each worpress.org site that I have, do I need a different wordpress.com account for each one?

Hi @jonathanbjacobs, you would just need a different email account for each one. All of them can be connected to the same Gravatar (wordpress.com) account.
If you’re using a mail service that supports alias, you could use that too.

Got it. Then how do I make sure I connect the correct Gravatar to each wordpress.org site?

@jonathanbjacobs you would use that email address in setting up the WordPress.org user for each site. You just won’t need multiple WordPress.com users. I hope that helps :)
