  Hi drjamesemmett,

  In order to make use of your gravatar, you need to make sure that you add the email addresses you use for your WordPress.com account to your gravatar account which can be accessed at: http://en.gravatar.com/

  Setting that up along with your WordPress.com profile should connect the two together.
