Gravatar activation stuck in loop

  I’ve activated my WordPress.com account which is associated with the email: (email visible only to moderators and staff) but when I try to activate my GRAVATAR account it says it sent the email but nothing shows up. I’ve tried several times over a few hours but nothing delivered to my INBOX, JUNK or CLUTTER folders. Can you please help?
