Gravatar alignment

  • Unknown's avatar

    I have been trying to make my bio show up under my gravatar by choosing ‘none’ for alignment but it keeps pulling it to the right and left of my photo? This looks bad so I’d like to fix it. Please help!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    Would you mind clarifying what you’re looking for exactly – perhaps if you could send a screenshot of what you think doesn’t look too good.

    You can upload the screenshot file to your site’s media library and then send me the URL of the file here.

    Look forward to hearing from you

    Hi Cath, I have an old but still active blog on WordPress that it pulled in above. The actual blog I am referring to is http://organizedsquirrel.com/
    You can see it right by my gravatar. The alignment is U-G-L-Y! SOS! ;)

    Oh dear, this site isn’t on WordPress.com so unfortunately this forum isn’t the right place for your question. https://wordpress.org/support/ is the correct forum for your queries.

    (For further explanation about the difference between .ORG & .COM please refer to this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ )

    I do, however, feel your pain and would like to help you as I agree that it’s definitely not ideal ;)

    You will need to add this line of code below to your site’s custom CSS – the location on that will depend on your theme and/or your host:

    .widget.user-profile img.avatar { margin-right: 20px; }

    This will add padding around the image making it more aesthetically appealing.

    If you need any further assistance with your site you will need to go through the channels I mentioned above.

    Good luck!

    Cath
