Gravatar as my avatar
-
I uploaded a WordPress.com avatar in my dashboard. Then I created a Gravatar. Now I would like to get rid of my WordPress.com avatar and just use my Gravatar instead. I hope that makes sense.
You see, if I want to change my picture, I currently have to go to Gravatar and WordPress.com to upload the new image. I’d like to get rid of the avatar uploaded here at WordPress.com and fall back on my Gravatar.
It seems like this is not currently a possibility, so I’d like a button that says “delete my WordPress.com avatrar and use my Gravatar” or something. If it turns out that I’m just being blind, then colour me wrong and perhaps make the feature a little easier to do: I can’t be the only guy wanting to do this.

Perhaps you would like to know, WP owns gravatar, your WP avatar is actually uploaded to gravatar, and you can’t go back as far as I know.

No, your wp.com avatar isn’t uploaded to gravatar. They’re two separate services. Unfortunately, I don’t know of a way to get rid of the wp.com avatar and it will always trump the gravatar (I asked on #wordpress.com).
