Gravatars/blavatars do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change. Do not keep uploading!See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

Thanks timethief. Mine has been in place several weeks but still doesn’t show up on most sites, including my own.

Please make sure the rating is not an issue.
Maximum rating:
G — Suitable for all audiences
PG — Possibly offensive, usually for audiences 13 and above
R — Intended for adult audiences above 17

Hi there,
I just checked your gravatar account and it looks like the image that you’ve tried to set as your main Gravatar is set to be PG rated, which is probably the issue that you’re having here.
If you go to gravatar.com and click on login, then upload a new image and set it to G (assuming it is in fact G rated), you can then remove the current image. Wait an hour or so for all systems to update and your image should be showing. Let me know if it doesn’t though!
