gravatar default image cache not clearing

  Default image is not showing new image
  after the default image has been updated (still same url)
  I am suspecting it is cached on gravatar

  is it be possible to bust old cached image?

  I’m also having gravatar problem but slightly different. My gravatar works fine on the desktop but on the mobile it shows a default cartoon of a little boy and I’ve been trying unsuccessfully for MONTHS to fix this. Please help. When it says “about the author” at the end of my posts or the picture next to comments, this is embarrassing.
