Gravatar doesnt change?

    Recently i have been doing some building on my wordpress blog.
    Now i have added gravatars. But for some reason they dont seem to change.

    Wenn you look at my site. (dont know if i can post it here)
    you will notice that gravatars from users work. But the default gravatar is shown as the blue gravatar icon.
    In the admin panel i selected Empty.

    For some reason the selected default gravatar in the admin pannel. doesnt show up on the site. I do see the selected one in my dashboard. Any suggestions what could be the problem and where to look?
