Gravatar doesn't save my profile picture
-
Hello,
I started on WordPress a few days ago and I tried using the Gravatar site to upload my profile picture. Only problem is, that site doesn’t save my picture. I waited for a day in between saves, thinking my account wasn’t linked yet but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Do we have to use Gravatar for our profile pictures? Is there another way?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Welcome to WordPress.com! :)
Do we have to use Gravatar for our profile pictures? Is there another way?
Yes, you need to use it for your photo — Gravatar powers the user avatars on WordPress.com. Your WordPress.com and Gravatar accounts are linked automatically.
We have a guide to uploading an avatar, did you follow the instructions here?:
Only problem is, that site doesn’t save my picture
Many sites will only display a G-rated Gravatar — which means the image is suitable for display on all websites with any audience type. When you upload your image, check that it has a G rating. You can do this on gravatar.com.
Let me know how you get on.

Hello, thank you for replying!
I managed to upload a picture, the only problem is that the main page ‘my Gravatars’ continues to tell me that I have no pictures available. When I look at the walkthrough on the site, the only thing that seems different is that I’m not asked to give a rating to the uploaded picture.
(It’s just my face, which I hope has a G-rating for so many reasons.) -
Hi,
Ok, can you try a couple of things for me:
1. Clear your browser cache and cookies. There are some instructions here:
2. Trying connecting to Gravatar and uploading a new photo in a different browser.
Let me know how you get on.
