Gravatar doesn't work outside of WordPress
-
I set up my gravatar account a few weeks ago and everything is great when I’m commenting on WordPress blogs.
The problem is when I try to comment on a blog outside (i.e blogger) – I choose to publish my comment with WordPress, but then it just shows the default image (an orange stripe with a gray arrow).
Any thoughts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
Apologies for the delay; we’re going back and sweeping through forums posts that didn’t get an answer by the volunteers.
Your Gravatar profile appears correct, so a couple of possibilities. Your gravatar is tied to your e-mail address, so if you’re posting a comment and use a different e-mail address than the one on your Gravatar account, it won’t work. It may be helpful to add the e-mail account associated with your Blogger/Google account (if you have a different one) to your Gravatar account.
Also, the images may be cached, meaning they’ll return a saved version (the default image in this case) until the service checks again for a new copy.
Please let me know if you’re still having the problem! Thanks for using WordPress.com.
