I was asked by a blog site what my Gravatar email, and I sent it to her and she said it didn’t work. What do I do now? Thanks.

A wordpress.COM username account is also a gravatar account. They are one in the same thing. You can have a single email address and a single gravatar for every username account that apply to all sites registered under that account.

http://en.gravatar.com/support/activating-your-account/It looks like you did not create a gravatar for this username account as yet but there could just be a delay in display.
You need to upload a gravatar image in order for it to display next to your comments on gravatar enabled blogs.
Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.
Dashboard → Settings → General
Replace “http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below with
the actual name of your blog in the URL
http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
Do not keep uploading!

To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatar-hovercards/

I checked your Gravatar account, with the email you’re using here, and found that you’ve uploaded the picture, but didn’t select it. You have to click on the image and confirm that’s the one you want to use it. You can go at the link below:
And log in with your WordPress.com account, then select the image. :)

How do I find out if my Gravatar is attached to an outside blog website? I don’t think it is. Thanks. Gary

Gary, I’m not sure if I understood your question… What do you mean with “attached to an outside blog”? Your Gravatar image will be shown in your profile and if you leave a comment in a site, when you use the same email you registered on Gravatar.
