gravatar image

I’ve tried to change my gravatar image over the weekend. I cleared my cache and followed what I thought were the instructions but it is not coming up. The last time I did this I had similar problems and had go to go through you guys. The image is uploaded. When I tried, I was told there was an error and the problem would be fixed in a few minutes :). Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Alethea,
I’m sorry about this! Is the image uploaded here?
http://en.gravatar.com/theheronspath
If it is, let me know which of those images you would like to be your Gravatar.
If not, can you please upload it to your Media > Library page and I can try uploading it on our end.
Thank you!

Hi,
It’s uploaded on that page, but it didn’t transfer as an icon to my blog, in the little circle on the upper right hand side. -

Can you tell me which of the images on your Gravatar profile you’re trying to make your user image here on WordPress.com?

Thanks for getting back. It’s one of me with short hair. there was another with longer hair that I was trying to replace.

Thanks for that info! Can you make sure that this image is associated with the correct email address and has the correct rating by following these steps:
- First confirm which email address is associated with your WordPress.com account here:
- Now, head over to Gravatar:
- Select the email address from step one.
- If the image is incorrect, select the correct image at the bottom of the page.
- The final step is to check your image’s rating. You can do this by putting your mouse over the image at the bottom of the page. You’ll see a letter rating appear like this:
Make sure that it says “G”.
- If yours does not say “G”, click on the letter that it does show. Now, select “G” from the ratings options:
Let me know when you’ve gone through those steps!
