Gravatar image linked to new posts

I have a problem with my gravatar. It is supposed to be linked to new posts, but instead it is the picture I use for my header (which is not the same one as my Gravatar picture.) My Gravatar picture shows up in other blogs as it is supposed to.

You can have only one Gravatar for every username account.
http://en.gravatar.com/torontostreetcarsGravatars are not linked to posts.
They appear when we leave comments and they are linked to blogs, not to posts.
They appear when we click “like” buttons at the end of posts and they are linked to our Gravatar profile pages, not to posts.
Only a few themes provide an author profile at the end of every post. In those themes only the Gravatar is in the author profile that appears below posts.

I think I may fixed the issue. When I share a post on facebook, I was getting my Header picture beside the post, not the Gravatar picture I wanted, like when I respond to another person’s post on their site. However, I think what I want is a ‘blog picture’. I am going to try that hope that it accomplishes what I want.

I wouldn’t mess with it as Facebook and image display is problematic. Unfortunately, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
