Gravatar in Comments
-
As far as I can tell my Gravatar doesn’t show up next to comments. I get the right image everywhere else I’ve noticed, but not next to my comments.
I’ve had a look in settings and can’t find anything obvious that’ll change it.The one anomoly was that when I looked at the image via my Gravatar account, if I look at Check This Gravatar and “How your gravatar looks on sites using the following ratings” for PG, R and X sites I get the right image, but on G rated sites I get the G icon.
I don’t know if it’s the same issue but I’m very confised.

Sounds like when you uploaded your gravatar you selected that it be PG. Presumably you can change that at Gravatar, but only if your avatar really IS G rated.
If it’s your own blog you’re concerned about, you can change which level of “intensity” it displays avatars on Dashboard->Settings->Discussion at the bottom of the page.

The Gravatar is indeed G rated (it’s just a box of tissues) though the blog is definitely not. I understood the rating to be for the Gravatar, not the blog, and surely that shouldnt stop me seeing my own gravatar if I view comments via the Dashboard?
I’ve had a look at the Dashboard page already and can see nothing that would obviously prevent my own Gravatar from appearing.

I too have had the same gravatar problem. I just followed these instructions and that is not the problem. I’ve been working on this one for a while.

I suggest you check out this page first and if you don’t find an answer then contact Gravatar support.
OK, but how do I contact support?
