Gravatar Login is stuck in a loop

I can’t seem to login to Gravatar. I get stuck in a login loop that goes around in circles. Here’s what I’m encountering:
- From the Gravatar homepage, I click the “Sign In” button on the top right
- I’m taken to a page to enter my username/password. I enter my Gravatar username/password and click Log In (Note: my Gravatar username/password happen to be the same as my WordPress.com username/password. I’m not sure if this is part of the problem or not.)
- I’m brought to a page to enter my Authenticator Verification Code (2-step verification). I enter that code and click “Log In”
- I’m taken to a page to approve Gravatar’s use of my WordPress.com account. I click “Approve”.
- I’m taken to a page that asks me to “Sign in to Gravatar with WordPress.com Connect” with a blue button that says “Sign in with WordPress.com”. I click that button.
- I’m taken back to the login page from #2. Again I enter my username/password
- Again I’m taken to the 2-step verification code entry page. I enter the code and click “Log In”
- Again I’m taken to the page to approve Gravatar to use my WordPress.com account. I click “Approve”.
- Again I’m taken to the page that asks me to “Sign in to Gravatar with WordPress.com Connect” with a blue button that says “Sign in with WordPress.com”. I click that button.
- Again I’m taken to the page to enter my username/password which I do.
- Again I’m taken to the page to approve Gravatar to use my WordPress.com account. I click “Approve”.
- Again I’m taken to the page that asks me to “Sign in to Gravatar with WordPress.com Connect” with a blue button that says “Sign in with WordPress.com”. I click that button.

- repeat
- repeat
This is seriously broken. How do I fix it? I need to change my Gravatar.

After I changed my password on wordpress.com, I have the same issue with Gravatar (except for using 2-factor verification). After logging in at wordpress.com and redirecting back to gravatar.com, it shows me log-in button again, and again, and again. I cannot log in to Gravatar.com anymore.

Hi @clbn , I just tried logging in and testing this as you. I didn’t get the redirect loop. If you’re still having trouble, can you clear your browser cache and any cookies for wordpress.com / gravatar to see if that helps?
If it doesn’t, please go ahead and open a new thread and tag it “modlook” — this issue that caused @aslamn’s trouble has been resolved, so I’ll go ahead and close this thread.

I am having a similar problem. I can get into my profile account but when I click on that weird “head” and it says “add an image” when I click it I end up back at the sign in screen.
Can anyone help with this issue. So frustrating!Bottom line is it will not let me load an image.

@kdobson22, please try another browser to see whether that helps. Also, be sure you’re starting by adding an image here:
