Gravatar login problem

I have a wordpress.com account. I want to add a gravatar to my email address / wordpress account. Every time I try to get to the gravatar setup screen I get a screen saying “we sent you an email confirmation when you signed up for gravatar. In this email you will find a link…..”.
Well I don’t have that email and I can’t get to my account. Please help.

A wordpress.COM account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing as both are owned by Automattic.com. http://en.gravatar.com/support/existing-account/

Timethief – My email account is the same for both gravatar and wordpress.com.
I have read through all the gravatar support links – no luck.
On the “I Didn’t Get My Confirmation Email!” page, I verified it wasn’t in spam and I tried resetting my password – no luck. This is the screen I continually get when I try to login.
Checked my gmail spam filters – not the problem
