Gravatar m-shot link shows 404 error

Hi there, if you go to my gravatar you’ll see that the mini preview of our site, that I believe is powered by mshots, shows a 404 error.

I haven’t found any information on what I can do to fix this… any ideas?
Update: I tried editing the sites and I added my google plus and facebook sites. At the moment they’re supposedly ‘generating previews’… I tried adding http://centrodelahoya.es as a normal site and that was generating a preview too, but it disappeared when I refreshed the page.

Hi,
In all of these links, you need to remove linkurl… part.
So, for example, this:
http://linkurl…www.google.com/+johndouglas1Should be this instead,
http://www.google.com/+johndouglas1To check if your link is correctly formed, copy and paste it to your browser and if you get an error, it means the link was not typed correctly. (You can click the above links to see the difference.)

Hi,
You might have to edit the link again because sometimes some extra characters get added whenever you copy and paste or when you type stuff up. Redoing editing the link just makes sure we rule that part out if that’s not the problem and fixes it if it is the problem.
If you go here: https://en.gravatar.com/mrjuglas and under Websites, click that says Google Plus Page, it will take you to a page with an error and in the browser bar, it will say “http://linkurl…www.google.com/+johndouglas1”.
What you need to do is edit the link to your Google Plus Page and change it to http://www.google.com/+johndouglas1 instead of http://linkurl…www.google.com/+johndouglas1
Double-check the link you put in to make sure no extra characters are added.

When I go to my profile and click on websites all that comes up is the option to delete them or click on them. I could also add a new one, but when I did that before I was not pasting in a link, but typing it in…

Just add another link and see if the new link you create works. If it does, you can delete the old links that do not work.

The page is just broken, we should notify the devs…
If I add my wordpress site it should put the link in for me.
The other sites I’ve tried adding with http:// and without it… nothing works. I’m surprised I’m the only one with this problem.
I’m going to try Firefox instead of Chrome, who knows?

How strange, it worked fine with Firefox apart from adding the WordPress site… That worked when I added it as a non-wordpress site, but only temporarily, now it shows a 404 error.
This is what I get on WordPress.com on the my sites section.

I’ve just checked myself and there are two sites that aren’t working. They’re both centrodelahoya.es, one of which I added as a WordPress site and the other which I added as a normal site.

I tried this myself by adding centrodelahoya.es blog to my Gravatar profile and was able to recreate the same 404 error for the thumbnail image. I tried adding my own WordPress.com blog as well as a self-hosted WordPress blog and did not get the 404 error but had the normal website screenshot.
I am going to tag this for staff since they might be able to see something behind the scenes that I am not able to.
Just follow this thread and be patient while waiting for a response. Good luck!

Hm, ok, I only see the 404 for the http://centrodelahoya.es/ links now (there are two of them on your profile).
I have marked them for re-generation again. Sorry for the trouble!

No, definitely nothing you can do from your end. I’m going to pass this on to our developers to see why just that one site is failing to refresh. Sorry for the trouble!
