Gravatar Name linking problem

Now, we are getting somewhere. Thank you for providing attention to this matter:

Hm, interesting, I’m not seeing what would be stopping that, your website is indeed saved correctly and others are working.
Try logging out there and then logging back in.
Also, do recall any differences you made between commenting https://bookstooge.wordpress.com/2020/12/28/darkwalker-on-moonshae-forgotten-realms-moonshae-1-%e2%98%85%e2%98%86%e2%98%86%e2%98%86%e2%98%86-dnf29/#comment-39205 (where there is no link) and https://bookstooge.wordpress.com/2020/12/28/darkwalker-on-moonshae-forgotten-realms-moonshae-1-%e2%98%85%e2%98%86%e2%98%86%e2%98%86%e2%98%86-dnf29/#comment-39220 (where there is a link)?

Okay, so I just remembered that when I commented where it is working, I was on my phone ( I am bolding stuff because I actually work in a tech environment myself and I know the trouble with keeping track of different issues at the same time ) and the ones that aren’t working are on the computer that is authenticated through Google. Are there any known issues with Gravatars linking through the NAME link on those accounts?
If you notice, when I click the Gravatar avatar, next to the one that is working, it goes to the same exact account as my other comment that isn’t working on this link:
Any idea why it would do that – could I actually be logged in a different way on my phone than on my computer, even though it goes to the same gravatar account?
-
That is entirely possible, so I recommend logging out and logging back in on both devices.
Make sure that you log in to the same WordPress.com account the same way.
-
So, I just used a brand new up-to-date browser comment with Microsoft Edge and the name link works just fine. I am completely baffled about how a browser could affect a link through a gravatar comment, so I guess now I need to do some reading. 🧐
Geez, talk about clash of the titans. 😂
Any idea why that would happen like that in a different browser, on a computer in at least a couple of different locations?

So, if you don’t mind, without further ado.
Can you please answer this one last question for me on an unrelated issue. Please listen to my exact verbage! 😀
1. Concerning the WordPress Reader here:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/R22vwSXiq2omj6oy8
The comments from my .ORG site (sdmckinley.com) ( I know you don’t deal with .ORG, but this is a JetPack problem, which is .COM ) never show up here, even though I have done the following:
1. Resynced
2. De-activated and re-activated my JetPack plugin
3. Ran diagnostics
4. Rubbed my stomach and patted my head while playing jiving jiggy jowel cheecks song on my sitar and playing the flute at the same time.Any ideas why the comments from my site ( sdmckinley.com ) doesn’t ever show up the CONVERSTATIONS section of the WordPress Reader? Is it supported? Does it ever work? Is it suppose to work? If you don’t know, can you please ask one of your colleges? I would mind returning a favor if you can get this worked out for me.
-
The Conversations section should display comments for all posts you liked or commented on with your WordPress.com account; it’s not site-dependant. Do I understand correctly that this section is always just blank on your end? Or did you mean that you never see conversations done on sdmckinley.com?

Good morning. I appreciate what you are doing here. What I mean is that:
1. In the browser, for multiple followers, including myself on sdmckinley.com (my JetPack enabled site), comments never show under conversations in the reader, although I do see all other sites that I comment on, here.
If you go on my blog and make a comment you can see how it never shows up here:
https://wordpress.com/read/conversationsThanks in advance for any help you can provide regarding this.

Ah, I see.
I do not see anything wrong with the Jetpack connection that could be causing this, and, as far as I’m concerned, it should work for Jetpack-connected sites as well.It might be best if you reach out directly to Jetpack’s support team; they may be able to give you more information:

Well, I would hate to have to start all over again, with a different support team. I think this issue is important, because other people have it as well on their sites that are running .ORG software. Is there any way you can do an internal hand off? I completely realize that I am not ( currently ) a paying customer, but I possibly could be at some point and my experience here kind of hinges on that. Thanks for any leverage you can provide, esspecially since the .ORG caliber seems lower than even here ( what I went through last night that caused me lost sleep and bad dreams )

The Reader is a feature of wordpress.com. Due to the differences between the various site hosting plans offered at wordpress.com and the self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, you should probably ask WordPress.com Support instead. -
Now, my JetPack support request is in spam:

Now, my support request has been deleted:

Who can I talked to to see what kind of JetPack plan would cover me getting proper support for this issue?

You have https://wordpress.org/support/topic/coversations-in-wordpress-reader-not-working-for-all-followers-of-my-blog-2/ open in the Jetpack support forum, so someone will reply to you there.
Also, if you have any paid Jetpack plan, you can contact Jetpack support via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support
