Gravatar not displaying in media files

  I changed the gravatar for my site yesterday. The gravatar is up on my site, but any media files I have uploaded, .pdf’s in particular, are still displaying using the regular wordpress image. The media files are at a XYZ.wordpress.com/(media file link) and not my domain name.

  Is there a way to change this? Does it need more time? Thanks for the help.

  Hi there,
  Gravatars do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change. Do not keep uploading! The first place they tend to display is here in the forums. If several days have passed and that change is not in evidence then post here for Gravatar support > http://en.gravatar.com/site/contact-us/

  I guess I was just being impatient. It’s changed on every site affiliated with the forum and my blog itself, just not files that are addressed on a xyz.files.wordpress.com site. I’ll check back in a day or two.
