Gravatar not showing on blog or wp dashboard

I have created a Gravatar for my blog about three weeks ago. It is still not showing up anywhere on my dashboard or if I comment. However, it is showing up on wordpress.com.
I have tried clearing the browser cache, I enabled avatar and set it to use with the lowest ratings under discussions and I double checked the email. All good. What could be missing? I have seen some post about setting the ratings on gravatar.com as well, but I cannot find those settings anywhere? Could that be it? If so, where do I find those settings? -

I have a similar problem. I’ve set up multiple sites using WordPress, and Gravatar works on all sites except the last one. Could the .online TLD have something to do with it? All the other sites are .com (this is the only difference). I’m using the same email on all of them, but it doesn’t even work for the admin area on the .online domain. I can still get my profile picture on posts etc. using a plugin, but that is beside the point.

If your website’s admin account (or the one you use to post) uses the same email as your WordPress.com account, it will use the profile picture you add at https://wordpress.com/me
If not, go to Gravatar.com and sign in with your WordPress.com account. Add a new email and verify it, then assign the image you want to that email address.

However, the .online site address shouldn’t matter. Maybe a caching issue? Gravatar works by your emails matching, and the site domain name isn’t a factor. I have some non .com sites where I’ve double checked just for the sake of double checking. -

My admin e-mail is not the same as my wordpress.com account.
It was earlier, and then I had the same problem. However,

I showing the correct image.I gravatar I have added my wordpress.com email as well as my admin email for my site. Still no luck. I have in the meantime changed my domain name. It is now crowdlendingrocks.eu

@crowdlendingrocks, In Gravatar once you added the new email address, did you confirm it and then assign the image to it also?
Your site has a plugin that uses separately uploaded avatars, so you might also check that isn’t interfering.

You are using the Ultimate Member plugin. That might use a different uploaded image instead of a Gravatar? See their documentation on how to use profiles, maybe, or see if there is a change without the plugin active.

Disabling Ultimate member sorted the problem for me thank you so much. I’ll go and rummage through the documentation at some point. Perhaps a future update will resolve the conflict. Thanks for your input Darciemg…

I did some digging into this issue. I reactivated Ultimate member. Then I went to Ultimate member settings. Just under the general tab, I selected the Users link. The 5th item in the list is a check box for “Use Gravatars”, which I checked. The drop-down which is next can be left at default, but the other settings did not interfere with displaying my Gravatar. The check box following that seems as if it will override Gravatars, so I left it unchecked. Once I clicked save, my Gravatar was functioning as it should… Hope this can help someone else having issues with Ultimate member and Gravatar…
