Gravatar not showing up

  So I’m just about done with even trying to get a gravatar to show up at this point. Wouldn’t it be easier to just be able to upload an image directly to wordpress without having to use Gravatar? I have tried everything imaginable to set a gravatar image. Even waited a month for it to show up and nothing. So if anyone knows how to get it to work please let me know. I’ve changed the image multiple times and I get nothing. For now I have gravatars turned off to save myself the embarrassment of having nothing.

  It looks strange. Just to clarify, are you trying to upload your Gravatar on this page? https://wordpress.com/me

  Have you also tried to use the Gravatar website to upload your photo? http://gravatar.com/

  Do you see failure for both the cases?

  I tried it on the Gravatar site and it never seems to work.

  You say you disabled gravatars on your site and that’s and indication that you are not referring to a site hosted by wordpress.COM on our servers.

  I have a sorta similar problem. My gravatar icon won’t show up on some sites when I Like something, but it does on others… what’s up?? I can’t seem to find help anywhere here. Thanks!
