Gravatar not updating in WordPress

  I have tried the FAQs and this support forum, but with no luck. I post the blogs for our various authors at work. I tried to set up a Gravatar account for and our latest author (O'(email visible only to moderators and staff)), but Gravatar kept giving me an error message “invalid email” (possibly because of the apostrophe in the name?) So, as a workaround, I set him up under my own account, added his email – rec’d the confirmation email, uploaded the picture, and went through the standard process of waiting for it to update on WordPress. This was yesterday, and it still hasn’t updated in WordPress. I need someone to look into what is causing this issue ASAP.
