Gravatar OAuth Redirect Loop
-
Hello,
I recently changed my WordPress.com password and now cannot login to Gravatar. When I tried to re-authenticate into Gravatar, I’m put into a OAuth redirect loop which ultimately bounced me back to https://en.gravatar.com/site/login, and prevents me from logging into Gravatar.
I’ve made several attempts to resolve this issue from my end, including de-authorizing Gravatar from my WordPress account and re-authorizing, clearing cookies and cache, attempting authentication in a separate browser, and attempting authentication on a different computer and network all with the same results.
If I de-authenticate Gravatar from WordPress, I am prompted to re-authorized the WordPress OAuth connection, but once I am sent back to Gravatar I’m redirected to the login page.
Is there anything that can be resolved in WordPress’ end to resolve this?
Thank you

Hi @charlesportwoodii, someone just brought this thread to staff’s attention with the modlook thread. I haven’t seen this issue but I’ll be digging into it and let you know what I find out.

Thanks for the follow up.
This specific issue can likely be resolved. I was locked out of Gravatar on the 23rd and 24th of March with the OAuth redirect loop, but it seemed to have resolved itself on the 25th. See the conversation on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/gravatar/status/712941840941637632
