Gravatar photo not displaying on site
-
I have loaded 3 photos through gravatar to be shown on my “about” page. When I look at the edit page the photos appear there with one photo (primary photo) in the box on the left but when I view the blog none of the photos are showing up- just a default icon.
What’s happening? Did I miss a step? I have definetely saved the page. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Karen! Let’s check on a couple of your settings. Please click Settings → Discussion. Scroll down to the Avatars section and make certain your preferred Gravatar is chosen.
The email address you use for your account on the WordPress.com must be one of the email addresses that is registered to your Gravatar account. Is that the case?
One solution I have for you is to change the default settings on your About page, by adding your biographical information and images directly to your blog. Right now, the About page is drawing automatically from Gravatar, but while that issue is being ironed out, I recommend making adjustments to the blog page itself. Let me know if you need any guidance with this.
Looking forward to hearing you results. Many thanks!

Hi Robyn-
I would love to have guidance on changing the page so that it doesn’t link to Gravatar. I looked at the settings on this page and did a preview but it still looks the same. Can you advise me so that the page is in the blog and not connected to Gravatar?
Thanks! -
Hi Robyn-
I see also that even on this page there is an icon instead of a photo. What am I missing?
Thanks!! -
Hi Karen!
While logged into your site’s Dashboard, click Pages → All Pages and open “About” in your editor.
Replace the default text with your bio, and Add Media to add your picture to the page. Then Update your page so your changes are published.
That should take care of the problem you’re having on your About page.
Please let me know how that goes! Thanks :)
