Gravatar photo won't change with new upload

  I uploaded a new gravatar photo of myself to my profile, and saved the profile. The new photos shows correctly on the profile now, but posts on the blog continue to show my old photo, including a new post that is not yet published, just still being edited.

  How do I get the correct new photo from my profile to show on the published posts?

  Interestingly, the new photo is showing on my avatar in this forum, but it is still not showing on my posts (old posts or newly edited one) as discussed above.

  Is there something else that has to be done to “activate” the new avatar for different applications?

  Hello there,
  I checked the gravatarr site common questions and found this for you:

  I changed my gravatar, but I still see my old one on sites!
  We cache your gravatars for periods of time, which means that your new gravatar will take effect after the old one expires from the cache. The reason we do this is to be able to serve your (and indeed everybody’s) gravatar images much more quickly and reliably. http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/#answer-1-2

  Gravatars always show up in the forums here first and over time they propagate throughout the internet.
