GRAVATAR PIC NOT DISPLAYING

  Dear friends,

  I run the multiauthor blog http://www.figureground.ca, which at present has +30 contributors. Latetly, though, a number of our collaborators have had a hard time making their profile pic with gravatar show under our authors heading on our main page. In all cases, weeks have gone by and the blue generic icon never changed to display their photos. Any ideas as to what might have gone wrong? They’ve allowed me to access their gravatar accounts to check, but everything seems in order…

  This is a long shot, but go to settings > discussion and check the maximum setting rating for the gravatars on your site. Next, check the settings for the gravatar on the author’s gravatar account and make sure that they aren’t set at a different rating or a higher one. Example: site set for “G” and gravatar set for “PG”.
