My Gravatar image doesn’t show up on my blog. The pic does work on my profile page though.

Note that there is a time delay while your gravatar image propagates throughout the internet. If you are experiencing problems then go to the gravatar site http://en.gravatar.com/ and read the FAQs as it contains common questions and answers to them http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/

One other thing is to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. Some browsers hang onto gravatars and blavatars and won’t update them till you clear everything out.

I tried what you suggested timethief and sacredpath.
But my avatar still doesn’t show up. Oh well I think my blog looks fine without an avatar. gravatar’s too unfriendly anyway.

That’s too bad.
Gravatar seems pretty easy to use for me.
I just went there and added a new picture,
selected which of my two emails I wanted it to go with.
It’s a really cool service!
And it’s free. -

We are assuming the question is about a WordPress.COM blog.edictiv has a functioning gravatar in the forum here, so it seems likely that the question is about a blavatar, as kardotim answered:

I made 2 blogs and deleted the first one which was set unintentionally as my primary blog. I fixed the link so my real blog is linked to my avatar.
Sorry for posting that Gravatar is “unfriendly”. Didn’t mean to offend anyone I’ll try fixing things so Gravatar can work on my blog.

Exactly where do you expect to see the Gravatar to appear on your blog that it’s not appearing now?Sometimes new member think their gravatars are supposed to automatically appear in every post they publish in their own blog- this is NOT the case.
On your own blog your grravatar will appear only next to your comments and only if you have set that up here > Settings > Discussion Likewise it will appear only on blogs that are gravatar equipped and have their Discussion settings set up to enable gravatar display.
Is the lack of display next to your comments what you are referring to or not?
