gravatar problems
-
I am trying to upload my picture to Gravatar. I signed up via WordPress and received my emailed confirmation. When I log into Gravatar it keeps sending me back to the log in page even though I can see my account in WordPress. Can someone help?

Hi
Are you receiving an error message?Try clearing your browser cache. Here are instructions https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
-
Hi, no error message – I get the Gravatar log in window, it accepts my details and then asks me if I want to approve or deny Gravatar to accept my WordPress details. I click approve and it takes me back to a log in window. It goes round in circles. I tried clearing cache. It didn’t seem to make any difference.

All gravatar support docs are at http://en.gravatar.com/support/
A wordpress.COM username account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing. Read: Why Does WordPress.com Say I Already Have an Account?
You can have a single email address and a single gravatar for every username account that apply to all sites registered under that account.
Read also: Uploading Your First Profile Image
http://en.gravatar.com/support/activating-your-account/It looks like you did not create a gravatar for this username account as yet but there could just be a delay in display.
You need to upload a gravatar image in order for it to display next to your comments on gravatar enabled blogs.
Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.
Dashboard → Settings → General
Replace “http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below with the actual name of your blog in the URL
http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
Do not keep uploading!
Do not forget to select an image rating.See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatar-hovercards/

The problem was with the cookies settings for safari. I needed to allow cookies from all websites and not just the one I was on. Thanks for your help
