Gravatar Profile Picture gets dark when uploaded
-
This may sound strange, but every time I try to upload a profile picture to my Gravatar Account that’s linked to my WordPress blog , the photo always turns out to be much darker than the original photo is. Strangely, this isn’t the case for all photos, but ( and this is not a joke !) only for the photos where you can see my face. I tried to upload other photos and they all turned out well, accept for my profile pictures. I can’t believe this ! I tried to upload it from another computer or even on the iPad but it was always the same. Even uploading it from the internet doesn’t help. I would really appreciate if you could take this seriously. Thank you very much !

Hi Jeff!
Sorry for the trouble you’re having with this. I uploaded my own profile picture in Gravatar and did not notice any difference in brightness. If you can share before and after pictures of what’s actually happening, that would help a lot.
You may upload your images on your own blog and share the links with me in your next reply.
Thanks!
Andrew D.

Hey there!
Are you having trouble uploading images to your media library? Let me walk you through it:
- Go to your Media library here
- Click on “Add New”
- Select the profile pictures from your computer
The images should upload immediately.
You may leave them inside the Media Library for me to check out. Just let me know when they’re ready. Thanks!
