Gravatar Profile Widget Too Big In Tablet Size For Twenty Fourteen
-
Hello,
I would like to report that the Gravatar Profile Widget shows/appears too big in the Twenty Fourteen theme in Tablet Size/View causing it to take up too much space and look blurry when viewing it in the Customizer and after I Publish a post and I see a Preview of my post:
https://mediacru.sh/OsCDeGQ7nP9Y
It is not a huge problem, but I think that this size increase of this widget could be decreased back to its normal size to prevent this problem in Tablet Size/View.
Firefox 33 on Ubuntu 14.0.1 LTS.
Thank you,

Hi John Jr,
The development team implemented a fix for this.
Let me know if you see it acting up again?

Thank you Alexgustafson, it is working normally now, and I will try to remember to let you know if it stops working normally again. :)
Thank you,

I was wrong Alex G., I forgot that I changed back to the Gravatar widget recently, and so I when I looked at it earlier I was looking at the wrong widget.
I just added the Gravatar Profile widget again and in the Customizer it still looks too big in Tablet size, and in Mobile size it is smaller than it was but it is still possibly 18px too large (320px instead of 302px if I am viewing the correct Image Info) but I could be wrong.
Thank you,

Hi John,
In the fix, we’ve created a maximum width for images to be 500 pixels in any view. For smaller gravatar images this may still scale the image up at some media breaks, but it’s a reasonable solution for all images to keep things at a reasonable size in the widget area.
If you wish to scale back the image further you could implement some custom CSS:
.grofile-thumbnail { width: 302px; max-width: 100%; }Best,

I will just use the Gravatar widget or Authors widget instead because they both have an option to adjust the size of the widget/image, oddly the Gravatar Profile widget does not have this option, I think that it would be a good idea if it had this option as well. ;)

Also I think that our Gravatar images on our profiles should be sized at 500px also to avoid them looking blurry when upscaled like that.
