Gravatar security breach

  I just learned there was a Gravatar security breach. I didn’t know I even had a Gravatar acct which is troublesome. How do I delete this? I’m willing to delete my wordpress acct if necessary, I don’t like hidden accounts being created for me without significant transparancy.
