Gravatar site won't upload picture

  I’ve verified that the image is an appropriate size and type, .bmp 376k. Continually get Whoops! Something went wrong! Tried to contact support, but it is always closed. No help. WTF? I’m so frustrated.

  Hi there,

  I don’t see any images uploaded to your Gravatar account. Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and see if you’re able to upload it then?

  If possible, also try with a JPG or PNG image file, and the image dimensions should preferably be around 500×500 pixels. If it’s too small it might not work.

  Apparently, a bmp will not work. I resaved it as a png and it worked first try. The file size was almost identical, as was the resolution, so it wasn’t that. It seems it was just the file format.

  Ah, okay. I see our documentation doesn’t specify file types. I’ll see about adding that so it’s more clear in future.
