gravatar to match blog name

I originally set up the blog oceancalligraphy.wordpress.com with another wordpress account, but now I want to have a separate wordpress/gravatar account for the blog.
Since the blog name was already taken, I could not set up a new account with that gravatar name. So, I set up this gravatar name instead. Is it possible for support to change this gravatar name from oceancalligrapher to oceancalligraphy to match the blog name?

No, it isn’t possible to change the username on oceancalligrapher to oceancalligraphy because the latter is reserved. Basically, whenever someone registers a blog name (like oceancalligraphy.wordpress.com), we reserve the corresponding username (oceancalligraphy in this case).
What I can do is setup another account at WordPress.com as oceancalligraphy and then we can transfer the blog to that user account. I would just need you to let me know an email address you would want to use with that new account. Please note, the email address would need to be different from the one you’re currently using at oceancalligrapher at least for the initial setup.

Done! I’ve created the new user account oceancalligraphy under the email address you specified. Can you confirm that you received login details at that address?
Also, just for future notice, if you enter an email address normally (with the @ symbol), it will automatically appear as “redacted” to all other WordPress.com users except for staff members. It’s an easy way to still pass along your email address to us without sharing it with everyone else!

Yes. I was able to transfer the blog to oceancalligraphy.wordpress.com to the oceancalligraphy user account. It worked out pretty well. :)
