Gravatar wont appear on other wordpress blogs

I have tried and tried but my gravatar (or even the wordpress toolbar on top of the browser) does not even appear on other wordpress blogs. I have tried the blogs of friends such as http://www.fabricerequin.com or http://www.kbeneza.com and i was able to post there before with my gravatr being enabled. Now it only words only on (insertnamehere).wordpress.com. Can someone please help me out?

The tool bar will only appear on wordpress blogs that are hosted here at wordpress.com. It will not appear on self-hosted wordpress blogs since there is no connection between .COM and self-hosted wordpress blogs. Self-hosted wordpress blogs are stand alone.
Whether gravatars show up when you comment depends on whether they are enabled on each specific blog. I know many people who purposely disable them so their blogs look cleaner.
Gravatars are linked to email addresses. If you use an email address when you comment on a blog that is not associated with your gravatar, the gravatar will NOT show up.
The rating set on your gravatar could keep it from showing up. If your gravatar is rated “PG” and the site is set to only allow “G” then your gravatar will not show up.

I was able to post comments back then on one of the pages a few days ago http://www.fabricerequin.com/2010/11/afa-here-i-come/#comments
i have also verified that my email address for wp and gravatar are one and the same and the settings are G.
This just in, all of a sudden it worked, i’ll try to see how this issue was resolved so this wont happen to me again
