Gravatar won't change

I’ve tried to change my gravatar numerous times and it won’t reflect the change. When I log into my Gravatar profile, the information, including the image, is correct (my business logo). However, the gravatar that shows in the address bar is the image for Hostgator which I have deactivated almost a year ago. Why does it keep showing Hostgator when that’s not even my hosting plan anymore? When on my dashboard, my selected avatar won’t show in the right upper corner. There is an mage like when an image won’t load on a website.

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
The most likely reason for the favicon in your browser not updating is because the old one is cached on your site. This is something that’s controlled by your hosting provider, or else by a caching plugin on your site.
Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice on how to fix this. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

Thank you. I was able to get it resolved yesterday but reaching out to current and previous host and deleting the favicon from my file manager.
