Gravatar/header doesn't show up

Hi! I’m using the writr theme and no matter how much I try, when I choose a header image in the customizer, it doesn’t save. It says “saved” but nothing happens. When I go to the customizer again, it says “no header image” like I didn’t upload one in the first place. I tried uploading, using my gravatar (which is what I would prefer), clearing out cookies/cache etc.. Nothing. I tried this theme on another blog and the gravatar shows up as a header without problem..

I’d like to add that this happens when I try other themes too. Can’t seem to be able to change or save the header image, whether it’s a gravatar or not.
