gravator not showing up

my gravator is not showing up on my blog and I was wondering if it’s because I never activated my account. the activation email I got was a month ago and I had forgotten to get it activated…

You need to upload a gravatar image in order for it to display next to your comments on gravatar enabled blogs.There is a single gravatar image and a single email address for every username account, and a wordpress.com account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing. Gravatar support docs are at http://en.gravatar.com/support/
Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.
Dashboard → Settings → General
*Replace “INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below in all URLs with
the actual name of your bloghttp://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.
