Gravitar linking image to email account

  • Unknown's avatar

My name is Ben Fagerland, I work at Activate Church. A previous employee (Corey Turner) has registered an account with you. When we use our email ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ a picture of him comes up. We do not want his picture linked with this email address as he is no longer with our company. We will be able to verify it if an email is sent to the (email visible only to moderators and staff), but this is not the email used with the account. The previous employee no longer has access to the account. How can I get a resolution to this? Please feel free to contact me directly on [redacted] -Thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you have access to the email account your previous employee used to create the site and the Gravatar, you can change the picture yourself by logging in to the associated WPcom account and then https://wordpress.com/me Click on the picture to log into Gravatar to change it.

A WPcom account and a Gravatar account are one and the same.

Thanks! The problem is the associated email is not the one linked to the account. So I don’t know how to log into the associated account to change the email linked to the image etc. Hope that makes sense?

*the emails are different. I do not have the log in email address as they used their own email address.

  • Hello, Ben!

I’ve removed the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) from Corey’s Gravatar account. So, for now on, his photo is not associated with that email address.

Let me know if you need further help.

Thank you very much. Most appreciated. I just tested an email and it still appears to be linked to the image? Does it take some time for it to work?
