Gray line on the right of my Gravatar picture
-
Hi!
There is a gray line on the right side of my Gravatar picture. Anyone knows how to fix that please?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s part of the image itself:
http://1.gravatar.com/avatar/dbfc75a7cd60ba4a50d0012a92ce462f?s=500
So you need to correct the image in an image editing application and upload the corrected version, or upload a different image. -
There were no line in the picture.
Anyways, I reloaded it again, and had it cropped before the upload. But it added again the black line… -

You’re welcome.
Yes, avatar images take some time to propagate, so at first you were still seeing the previous version.
You can add the same border:
.avatar {
border: 1px solid #D9D9D9;
}
But it won’t look ok because the avatar shows in a square area while the image isn’t square. You’d better create a new version, making sure its height and width are exactly equal. -
Justipi, I made it square before I upload it. Anyways, I did it again – 498*498. But still, the frame is larger than the picture.
I think the problem is that the frame isn’t square.
I also insert a code – padding: 7px; – to create a pad as my links, but it isn’t working.

Yes you’ right, my bad.
Turn the code to this:.avatar { border: 1px solid #D9D9D9; padding: 7px !important; } -
