Gray Overlay on Featured Image
-
Hi there, I have uploaded a photograph that has a white background as a featured image. The background of the website is white, so I want the integration between the photo and the background to be seamless.
When I upload any photo, the photo has a gray overlay on it, instead of being white. I just paid $96 to try to add a custom css code I found somewhere else but that didn’t work. Please help.
Thank you,

Hey there!
It seems as though this theme has a built in image overlay but if you have upgraded to a Premium or Business plan you can get rid of it by adding the following code to your Custom CSS section with in your Customizer. For more information about how to access this section please refer to the following link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
Here is the code to add to this section that will remove this overlay:
.hero-content-wrapper:before { background: none; }If you have any trouble accessing the Custom CSS section and adding this code feel free to pop back in and we can help walk you through it!
Cheers
