Grazr widgets
-
Hi
I’ve just started using WordPress for an experiment in blogging an educational course, and whilst I appreciate the lockdown on embedding arbitrary flash moves and iframe content, i am finding it a little too limiting. In particular, i was hoping to make use of the grazr opml/rss feed displaying widgets within my posts, but i find these are locked out.
Is there any mechanism for getting new services accepted by wordpress.com?
I was hoping to demonstrate that sites like wordpress.com could be used as ‘personal teaching environments’, but it’s just a little bit too controlling. I really didnlt want to go with Blogger, but next time i may have to?
thanks

Is there any mechanism for getting new services accepted by WordPress.com? Yes, make the suggestion directly to staff via the Support button on your Dashboard during their office hours. And don’t hold your breath.
You can, of course, use an RSS widget in your sidebar. Rather than adhering to one proprietary format, why don’t you tell us exactly what you’re trying to do and we can come up with workarounds? That’s how things go here.
