Great posts worth seeing from "my blog" in Email

  When I follow someones blog they receive an email telling them about the new follower (me) along with the line “Great posts worth seeing from Lloyd Parlee” It seems to list the top 3 most viewed posts (30 days? 1 year? all time?) I’m curious if there is a way to designate what posts they will see in the email when I follow them? The one’s that currently show are my most viewed posts but not necessarily ones that represent what my blog is mostly about.
