I noticed in the dashboard, visible in the Top Blogs or the flagship blogs blogs are all under the Green padlock and why with the padlock grey and triangle orange, I have more chance to see me in what’s hot?, thank you for the return

    Small precision
The Green padlock is visible only in the dashboard, I lost this title following a manipulation that did me give more choice. The visible part of my blogging is in mode mix and I would like to find the Green padlock, please

  • Hi there,

The reason you don’t see the green padlock on your site is because not all the content on your site is being loaded over https.

Specifically, the lunar calendar (http://www.calendrier-lunaire.net/), lunar phases (http://lune.esopole.com/) and geovisites (http://www.geovisites.com/fr/directory/societe_styles-de-vie.php?compte=695793271065) widgets on your site are all being loaded over http, not https, which is causing the mixed content warning. Unless those websites update their links to https, having their links on your site will cause this warning.

The only way to prevent that is to remove those widgets from your site completely.

    Hi There

These are widgets that are on the blog since 2012 before change the padlock was green and is passed with an orange triangle and a grey padlock

  • We changed the way we treat https on WordPress.com. That’s why it no longer shows the green padlock. We can’t change it back to the way it was before, as that would mean your site is no longer secure.

The only way to fix it is if those services start using HTTPS as well, or if you remove those widgets from your site.

    Hello
I did test by removing widgets in http and I managed was recover the Green padlock, but I need my widgets such as the traffic that counts the number of visitors on my blog since the creation of the widget, if I remove it and replace it with another in https I start all over again. I managed one widget on the Lunar space, but without the other back to the Green widget; I know today by your help came the problem thanks if HTTP I change to https, the widget no longer works.

  • The link in the widget will only work with https if the other website has https enabled, so please contact the owners of those websites and ask them to add https. Then your widgets will work again without giving the mixed content warning.
