Grey box covering most of my Editor page

    I’m new to WordPress, so I’m not totally sure what I’m doing, but when I go to edit posts there is a big grey box covering most of my editor page with very little space for the text I’m trying to work with. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug I’m encountering?
