Grey sidebar that shows post count after posting with irritating quote

  Hello, how do I turn this blinking grey sidebar off, all it seems to do is show my post count and feature an irritating quote, it isn’t useful and it slows things down. Any help appreciated.

  I think you are referring to “get instant feedback” and if so you can disable it. > Dashboard > Users > Personal Settings http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/12/12/get-instant-feedback-when-you-publish/
